Vijay in a Rajini film
“Ella Pugazhum Oruvan Oruvanukke… Nee Nadhi Pole Odi Kondu Iru…” was the opening line of a hit number from a super hit of Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay. And Vijay is serious about nothing but his work. He is returning with a bang by releasing three films in a year.
The surprise doesn’t end there. While speaking at a function in Trichy to release the audio the film 'Veluthu Kattu' director and father of Vijay SA Chandrashekar said that he is going to remake some of his old hits with the new generation of stars and technicians.
His first in the series will be the remake of 'Naan Sigappu Manithan' starring Rajinikanth, K. Bhagyaraj and Ambika. The film was super hit in the 80s. It was vendetta tale in which the hero a self-styled vigilante and goes after the bad guys after he loses his sister and mother to the villains.
And you guessed it right. SAC is planning to cast Vijay in the role of Rajini.

Stunning beauty Shreya Ghoshal playback singer
Photos of stunning beauty Shreya Ghoshal, the well known Indian playback singer. While she is best known for being a playback singer in Bollywood films, she has also performed several songs for other Indian film industries. Besides Hindi, she has sung songs in Bengali , Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. Ghoshal's career began when she won the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contest as an adult. Her Bollywood playback singing career began with Devdas, for which she received both the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent. Since then, she has worked in over 140 films. She has worked with many prominent Indian musicians, and several of her songs have achieved critical and commercial success. Ghoshal was born to Bengali Hindu family in Durgapur, West Bengal and grew up in Rawatbhata, a small town near Kota, Rajasthan. She belongs to a highly academic family. Her father works in Bhabha Atomic Research Center as a nuclear power plant engineer for the Nuclear Power Corporation of India while her mother is a post-graduate literature student. From the age of four Ghoshal accompanied her mother on the harmonium. Her parents enrolled her for formal training in Hindustani classical music in Kota with Maheshchandra Sharma.
As a child she won the children's special episode of the Sa Re Ga Ma (now Sa Re Ga Ma Pa) contest on Zee TV. Kalyanji who also judged the competition, convinced her parents to move to Mumbai. She trained with him for 18 months and continued her classical music training with Mukta Bhide in Mumbai.
Ghoshal caught the attention of film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali when she participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa for a second time, this time competing as an adult. In 2000, he offered her the opportunity to be the voice of Paro, the lead female character of his film Devdas, who was portrayed by Aishwarya Rai. Shreya sang five songs under the music direction of Ismail Darbar in the film. This song earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, as well as Filmfare's RD Burman Award for New Music Talent, given to upcoming talents in music. She also won a National Film Award for the song "Bairi Piya".
Since Devdas, she went on to sing for many other actresses under the baton of various music directors, including Ilayaraja,A.R.Rahman, Ajay-Atul, Abhijit Rane, Arpit-Prasanna Anu Malik, Himesh Reshammiya, Mani Sharma, M. KAMAL AND TRISHA VOICE FOR DSP
Trisha’s next Tamil venture, to be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, will have Kamal Haasan pairing up with her. The film’s music is being scored by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP). The lady was recently in Chennai to render a few poetic verses for this yet-to-be-named film. Kamal also joined Trisha at the studio to record his voice. Apparently, this is not a song but something like a singsong.Kamal, known for his versatility in all fields in the film industry, has already rendered several songs and this is not something new for the actor. A few kids also joined the actors in the singsong, we are told.

Indian films are to be screened in the Indian embassy at China. This is being organized to celebrate the 60 years celebration of Indo China relations. This is showcased in the programme India in China 2010.
The film to be screened are Pasanga (Tamil), Keshu(Malayalam), Taare Zameen Par(Hindi),Antaheen (Bengali), Oye Lucky! What I liked in the film?
The screenplay and the direction is fabulous. The movie starts like a typical spaghetti western (The beginning chapter is shown as Once Upon A Time in Nazi Occupied France). Then the inglorious basterds and their modus-operandi is introduced. Then there is a one-sided love story between German war hero and Jewish cinema hall owner (who in turn is in love with her black colleague). The last 45 minutes of the movie takes place in the cinema hall with two parties trying to blow it up.
The director entertains us with his black humor. The climax is the clincher. Christopher Waltz is the best among the actors in this movie. He mixes odd humor with uncanny intelligence while portraying his character. Brad Pitt is at his best and his character has a bit of similarities to the one he played in 'Snatch'.

The signature of Quenti Tarantino is written all over the movie. The format is also akin -
1. Chapter-based narration (like Kill Bill)
2. Nicknames for all the characters (most of the characters in his movies refer other characters with nicknames)
3. Cool conversations followed by grotesque unexpected twists.
4. Excessive voilence (banging the head with a baseball bat and poking finger into a bullet wound).
5. Retro music (QT has the habit of remixing retro music as background score to key scenes in his movies (Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill)
6. Leaving somebody alive so that he would go to boss and tell what happened (like he did in the ending of Kill Bill I)
Tailpiece: If you like QT movies, you will end up immensely liking this film as well. On a whole, Inglorious Basters is an entertaining tale of kick-assing of Nazis.

Sherlyn Chopra bares it all
There’s not a stitch on her hot body. Sherlyn Chopra has become the first Bollywood babe to bare it all for the camera. The above photo was posted by Sherlyn herself on her Twitter account a few days back.
Sherlyn did a nude photoshoot just to test how hot she would look on Playboy magazine, which has reportedly offered Sherlyn to pose nude for an issue.
Since Sherlyn had never bared it all before, she asked a photographer friend of hers to shoot her in the nude.
“My best friend shot this pic last week. Itz a raw file.I personally feel it needs no air-brushing,” Sherlyn wrote under on twitter.
Sherlyn has been getting compliments and criticism from her followers for her nude pic on the site.

No Maoist, No LTTE In ‘Raavanan’
Manirathnam has been far-famed for his intellectual coalesces of reality themes blended with fictional dramas and sometime mythological epics. His evergreen masterpiece ‘Nayagan’ was partly based on the life of Mumbai-don ‘Varadaraja Mudhalayar’ and ‘Thalapathy’ inspired from the characters of Arjunan-Karnan in ‘Mahabharata’.The queue doesn’t end there as ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’ was based on a revolutionary student of Osmania University in Hyderabad shot to death. With his upcoming trilingual film ‘Raavanan’ is all set for June release, there have been sort of excitements as the tale is reported to be based on mythological epic of ‘Ramayana’ with a different delineation of ‘Raavana’.
Recently, there were buzzes that the film is partially based on Maoist leader Kobad Ghandy. Off the late, the communal appraisals heard in the song ‘Kodu Poatta’ trigged up new sensationalism that Manirathnam could have touched the lines of ‘Eelam Tamilians’.
But the closer sources and the film crew have strongly denied these theories as baseless rumors and ‘Raavanan’ is a pure fiction.
Who’s that Vijay girl?
The works for Vijay's new film ‘Velayudham’ directed by ‘Jayam’ Raja is silently progressing even as Vijay is busy with ‘Kaavalkaran’. A grand launching ceremony at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium is also being worked out by Aascar Ravichandran of Aascar films.
Meanwhile the gripping buzz at the moment is the choice of heroines. Sources close to the film say ‘Velayudham’ will have two heroines and there are three girls under discussion. Genelia who earlier did ‘Sachin' with Vijay, Hansika Motwani who has become a hot heroine even before the release her first Tamil film ‘Mappillai’ opposite Dhanush and Kajal Agarwal who is high on the priority list after ‘Mahadheera’.
‘Jayam’ Raja is likely to announce the final cast as early as this month end.
